Good Morning students.
It is often that I praise all of you for everything you do to make our school a safe and beautiful place for education. It is because of you that Frost is the best school in our community. When you follow the rules and code of conduct, when you are respectful and polite to each other, when you do your work in the classroom, you make us proud.
Today, I want to take a minute to remind you about one of our policies that I feel is getting too relaxed and less attention than it should. As you know, we do have a uniform policy that is clearly outlined on the dress-code policy.
Understanding that lately we have had cold and wet weather, we have been a little more flexible with the enforcement of our dress code policy. However, now that it is not as cold or rainy, I feel it is time to make sure we remind ourselves of what the dress code is supposed to be.
All students have a copy of the dress code policy in your student planner provided to you at the beginning of the school year.
I would like for you to take a minute during homeroom to revisit this policy and look around the room to find out how many dress code violations you find in your own classroom. Today, we will use this exercise to remind ourselves of what items are not up to code or could get you dress-coded.
Tomorrow, during homeroom time, we will be having a school wide dress code check. I am counting on all students to help us and avoid being dress coded.
Thank you again for all you do to make our school great.
