Welcome to Frost Middle School, home of the Timberwolves. As our school year opens, I want to invite you to our campus and to encourage active participation from all stakeholders. Parent and community involvement, after all, are vital factors to academic success. Our primary focus this year will continue to be our students. By designing the best possible school, academic program, and Personal Learning Environments for our students we can build on the impressive academic performance already demonstrated by our students per the California Standardized Testing program. We intend have an early start to create a college going culture that will surely impact our youngsters lives in the future.

 

Our school is staffed by one of the finest groups of dedicated educators in the district. They are here to ensure that our students have every opportunity to excel in all academic areas and to achieve the success that they desire. Further, our school sponsors a wide variety of extra-curricular activities and clubs that allow students to become actively involved in school beyond their academic opportunities.

 

I am proud to share with our community that our school has joined the exclusive group of schools in the State of California with an Academic Performance Index (API) above 800. Our latest gain last year takes our API to the new high score of 823. I want to acknowledge our students, faculty, and staff for their tremendous efforts that allowed such impressive academic achievement; I know their continued dedication will help us to reach our targeted goals this year.

 

Our curricular program continues to evolve and is designed intelligently and purposefully to meet the need of all students. Faculty collaboration is a key factor in the refining of our instructional program and in creating a sense of community identity for our students.

 

We offer all students the tools they need to succeed and the opportunity to collaborate with their families in making important decisions about their educational future. Please join us in our effort to highlight Frost's excellence in education.
